Charming venue, delightful experience, this pub is a real hidden treasure with fabulous bedrooms that have all essential facilities and a convenient location just 15 km from the nearest airport for easy access.

Everything was great.

we stayed in a deluxe double room with a lovely four poster bed. the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. the staff were amazing, full of local knowledge, and really pleasant. breakfast was continental with fresh fruit, and dinner was good and reasonably priced too. such a great location with otterton mill just a short walk away.

The room showed its age with dated furnishings and visible stains above the headboard. We faced some serious plumbing issues—the cold water stopped running unexpectedly, and the shower was reduced to a trickle. the bathroom light had a frustrating delay in turning on, which made morning routines a hassle. The bed had too much give, leaving us feeling uncomfortable, and there were annoying heating issues on a particularly chilly night.

I recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay in a large double room that was cozy and impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming and offered great local advice, and the meals in the restaurant were both delicious and reasonably priced. The picturesque village surroundings provided plenty of lovely walks, making it an ideal getaway. the Wi-Fi connection could be improved, as it was a bit spotty at times.

The location is incredibly beautiful and very dog-friendly, making it a perfect choice for our family. We stayed in a twin room that was comfortable and equipped with a great selection of beverages. Breakfast was lovely, but dinner was a letdown as we expected fresher options for the price. we enjoyed our stay and the friendly atmosphere.

I really liked the comfortable twin rooms at Kings Arms Otterton. My kids slept well in the cozy beds. The location felt perfect – walking by the River Otter was a highlight for us. the fans provided in the warm weather were much appreciated. The staff impressed me with their friendliness, especially since the pub was busy. On the downside, the food left much to be desired. Dinner options like Fish & Chips lacked freshness, though breakfast with its continental style was quite nice. One small issue was the size of our double room – a bit cramped with the two kids and two dogs.

Had a lovely stay! The bed was so comfy, and the fresh bottle of water and biscuits daily were a nice touch. Only downside was some noise from the kitchen fans at night. Overall a great experience! 😊

I had a lovely visit to this charming hotel in Otterton, where I loved the easy access to Sidmouth Beach, just under 5 km away, and the serene Aylesbeare Common RSPB reserve, about 5 km from my room, making my morning explorations delightful and enriching.

The pub has a charming atmosphere and the fish and chips were delightful, though the faint smell of frying oil lingered in the air. Service was attentive but could improve. a pleasant experience, but the room was too small and lacked adequate ventilation. I'd return for the food.

The shower pressure was pathetic!!! The water issues were unacceptable, and the dated decor of the rooms desperately needs an overhaul!!! The breakfast variety was disappointingly minimal for the price.

Charming stay with a twist!

My partner and I loved the cozy vibe here. The village is really pretty and close to the Jurassic coast trail, which is a bonus for walks. The pub below had a good mix of local ales and even games/books to chill with. Just be careful eating here. I almost cracked my tooth on a stone in pudding!
